Perhaps the most exciting part of spending time in and around the great outdoors is the unpredictable aspect of Mother Nature.
You never know what sort of beast might cross your path when you head into the woods.
But this game warden got the shock of a lifetime after taking a closer look in one vehicle.
This Pennsylvania game warden needs a raise after this frightening encounter
If you have ever crossed paths with a bear in the wild, then you know just how majestic these beasts are.
Some bears, especially brown bears, can grow to massive sizes, dwarfing even full-grown men.
Even more terrifying, bears have razor-sharp claws and massive strength, making them lethal.
However, at the end of the day, most bears want nothing to do with people; they just want their food.
In Pennsylvania, one curious and hungry bear got himself into quite a predicament after entering somebody’s four-door sedan-type car and closing himself inside.
In an attempt to get the bear out of the vehicle, the vehicle owner called a game warden onto the scene. Fortunately, the interaction was caught on camera, and the footage has gone viral across the internet.
After taking a closer look, the game warden and a concerned citizen, possibly the vehicle owner, identified the bear as a black bear.
Black Bear sightings are very common in Pennsylvania and much of the eastern part of America for that matter.
Black bears typically run from people, and experts say that making loud noises typically repels black bears.
As a result, the game warden and another individual tried scaring the bear out of the car by tapping sticks on the windows.
After refusing to get out of the car, the black bear finally had enough, and exited the vehicle, revealing his massive size to the game warden.
The bear then ran off into the woods and appeared to be completely unharmed. However, how the bear managed to get into the vehicle in the first place remains a mystery.
As he left the vehicle, the game warden said, “Wow, he’s big,” which says something given that this man deals with wildlife for a living.
This black bear encounter serves as a valuable reminder about bear safety
Black bears, such as the one in this viral video, do not get massive overnight.
These creatures like to eat, and they like to eat a lot. Most foods that taste good to people also taste good to black bears, and they will do anything to get their paws on it.
