The ATF is an agency that’s dealt with numerous scandals over the years.

Now an insider is coming forward about the failed policies coming from the White House. 

And an ATF whistleblower dropped the hammer on Joe Biden for this colossal blunder.

ATF whistleblower in the Fast and Furious scandal slams Biden gun grab

Democrats laughably claim that former President Barack Obama’s biggest scandal in office was wearing a tan suit.

One of the biggest of the many scandals of the Obama administration involved the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The ATF’s Operation Fast and Furious scandal resulted in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in 2010, after the agency was running guns to Mexican drug cartels with the stated goal of tracking them once they crossed the border.

It was later revealed that the program was going to be used as cover to push more gun control.

Former ATF deputy assistant director Peter Forcelli came forward as a whistleblower in the Fast and Furious scandal.

Now he’s speaking out against one of President Joe Biden’s schemes to restrict the right to keep and bear arms.

So-called ghost guns new battleground in the fight over gun control

Biden issued an executive order in 2021 regulating the sale of so-called ghost guns.

Ghost guns are homemade firearms that are often made from 80% lower kits or 3D printers.

Manufacturing a gun at home is legal under federal law.

Homemade firearms are a tradition that predates the country’s founding.

Biden’s ghost gun executive order required that buyers of 80% kits undergo a federal background check.

These kits are now considered firearms under the Gun Control Act of 1968.

Biden claimed that there had been “an explosion of crimes involving ghost guns.”

Forcelli said that the President was wasting his time trying to go after so-called ghost guns.

“Everything that they’re doing seems to be attacking the gun industry and legitimate gun owners and distracting them from the mission that I believe in, which was to go after the people who were using guns to rob others, to hurt others, to do home invasions,” Forcelli explained.

The former ATF agent pointed out there’s a distinction between a law-abiding citizen with a gun and a criminal.

One that’s lost on anti-gunners.

“The Biden administration have taken this zero tolerance stance with the gun industry where like licensed dealers selling guns into legitimate commerce, making honest mistakes on a form, putting them out of business,” Forcelli said. 

The rise of 3D printing will make cracking down on homemade firearms nearly impossible as the technology improves and spreads.

“With 3D printing, people are just going to keep making them,” Forcelli said. “You want to go after the problem, but I think they’re misidentifying the problem. The problem is the people, not the item.”

Biden claims to be worried about criminals using untraceable homemade guns without serial numbers.

But they can already file off the serial numbers of existing firearms.

“I hate to say it, but blaming the gun is a lazy person’s way out,” Forcelli noted.

Cracking down on homemade firearms by making some sound scary by calling them ghost guns is another excuse for Joe Biden to attack the Second Amendment.
